
Low Smoke Zero Halogen Microduct
Low Smoke Zero Halogen LSZH Microduct with low friction performance are suitable for fiber blowing. The microduct is surrounded with a sheath of LSZH material giving excellent performance in a fire, low smoke emissions and contains no halogens. The lightweight flexible microduct is intended for indoor installation and designed for installation within buildings, it is perfect for applications required to follow strict fire and safety codes.


Overview:
Low Smoke Zero Halogen “LSZH” Microduct Assemblies consist of tubes with a smooth or ribbed LSZH inner surface that enables an air blown installation of micro cables. The micro ducts are sheathed with one-layer LSZH without moisture barrier. It provides excellent protection from the physical environment withstanding significant amount of pressure by pulling, and it is easy to branch off for network expansion.
Duct is designed for high crush resistance from external pressure. The thin inner tube wall can make it easy to bend or fix inside of cabinet/closure. The extra layer (total one layers of the outer sheath LSZH) is added to protect the thin wall of inner tube from external ground pressure. Flexibility of tube allows bending or fixing inside of cabinet/closure. It is strong against lightning, electrical surge.
Application:
The tight protected duct assemblies consist of a number of microducts with an inner low friction, antistatic surface LSZH that enables installation of air blown fibers unit cables. The duct assemblies are bundled with LSZH sheath depending on configuration. The design makes the ducts suitable for installation directly into the ground.
